Our name, “Holy Ground”, comes from a passage in the Bible beginning in Exodus 3 when God appears to Moses through a burning bush. Here, God tells Moses, “Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground.” God continues to empathize with Moses and His people, and then tells Moses he will be the one to rescue God’s people from Egypt. 

We desire to create a space where you are invited to the presence of God, not just through the church or some divine intervention, but through fun, sneakers, and streetwear. Holy Ground is also a play on the word “holy grail”, but instead of an object being highlighted, it’s more about God’s presence being emphasized.
